A proposal has been made in Russia to increase import customs duty rates on 80 types of light industry products.
The draft is currently undergoing evaluation. The initiative proposes that duty rates on 80 items of jackets, coats, trousers, breeches, sweaters, pullovers, workwear, headwear, and ski suits will amount to 15% of the customs value, but not less than €0.44–2.25 per 1 kg. Currently, duties stand at 10%.
