Transportation in refrigerated containers

Standard sea containers are not used for the transportation of medicines, food or chemicals. Sensitive cargo can be spoiled by temperature changes, which means direct losses.

For the safe delivery of such goods, we use refrigerated transportation — transportation in special thermally insulated containers or trucks with continuously operating refrigeration and heating units. TransGID specialists organize international transportation of temperature-controlled cargo and monitor the specified parameters at every stage of the journey.

We have built stable seamless logistics between the largest economic centers. Our specialists select the optimal schemes through the company's own branches and representative offices, which operate in Moscow, Vladivostok and Novorossiysk. The office in Novorossiysk allows us to work quickly with cargo through the ports of southern Russia, as well as the port of St. Petersburg.

Sea transportation

Sea refrigerated transportation is the most cost-effective way to deliver large shipments of temperature-sensitive goods over long distances. We purchase freight directly from leading sea lines — this guarantees stable departure schedules, flexible timetables and minimal waiting time for cargo handling in the ports of Novorossiysk, Vladivostok and St. Petersburg.

Rail transportation

Delivery of reefer containers by rail does not depend on the whims of the weather or traffic jams. We organize transportation as part of accelerated container trains that follow a precise schedule. Direct rail routes connect major Chinese hubs (Xi'an, Chengdu, Chongqing, Changsha) with distribution stations in the Russian Federation.

Road transportation

An ideal tool for door-to-door delivery or the last mile from ports and railway stations. We use modern euro-trucks and refrigerated trucks with a carrying capacity of up to 20 tons. Our licenses allow us to carry out safe road transportation, including the transportation of chemical and pharmaceutical cargo with ADR hazard classes (international road rules for the transportation of dangerous goods).

Air transportation

When time is of the essence, we use air freight. This is an expensive but fastest transportation method, taking from 2 days depending on the destination and flight schedule. We deliver cargo to major aviation terminals in Moscow (Sheremetyevo Cargo, Moscow Cargo), St. Petersburg (Pulkovo) or any other city with an international terminal.

To calculate the cost of transportation, please prepare the following information:

• Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) — especially important if importing chemicals, perfumes or hazardous substances.
• Exact temperature regime — specify the required range in degrees Celsius to maintain the integrity of the product.
• Packing list — we need the exact dimensions, gross weight and type of packaging (pallets, boxes). Be sure to note in the document whether stacking (placement in several tiers) and cargo tilting (movement with turning or tilting) are allowed.
• FEA code — will help to determine the customs clearance rules in advance.
• Cargo specifics — whether veterinary control, phytosanitary control or mandatory labeling is required.

Customs clearance

TransGID LLC is a licensed customs representative with over 14 years of experience. We independently classify goods according to the TN FEA, calculate duties, promptly submit declarations for the broker’s stamp and accompany inspections.

Marking «Cheстный знак»

Many imported goods cannot be put into circulation without marking codes. We apply control-identification marks at consolidation warehouses before customs procedures are completed.

Certification and insurance

We help to issue the necessary declarations and certificates of conformity for the legal import of products into the Russian Federation. Each shipment is accompanied by an insurance policy to protect the property interests of the cargo owner.

Each refrigerated shipment is calculated individually: there are no universal tariffs, as the cost depends on freight rates, the type of product and the severity of the temperature regime.
