Delivery of auto parts from several factories for one client

We received a request from the head of procurement for a network of dealership centers and specialized car service centers for vehicles from the PRC (Haval, Chery, Geely, Omoda) with the task: to ensure regular uninterrupted supply of various spare parts to Moscow and neighboring regions.

The service network purchases parts (bumpers, optics, filters, spark plugs, suspension components) from 12 different узкопрофильных factories across China. Bringing each batch as a separate consolidated shipment was too expensive. The second difficulty was that part of the nomenclature (for example, spark plugs and some types of filters) is subject to mandatory labeling in the «Cheстный знак» system before crossing the Russian border.

We developed a comprehensive fulfillment scheme based on a transit warehouse in Shanghai. Within three weeks, we contacted the factories, picked up the finished parts, and brought them to our terminal. There, we organized proper warehouse handling: heavy brake discs and suspension parts were placed on pallets at the bottom, while fragile headlights, filters, and plastic parts were placed on top, ensuring secure fastening.

For goods subject to labeling, our specialists printed DataMatrix codes directly in China and applied them to each individual packaging in strict accordance with Russian legislation. As a result, the entire consolidated shipment from 12 suppliers took up exactly two 40-foot containers, which were sent as a single lot via an accelerated railway service.

The client saved about 20% of the logistics budget by consolidating cargo into full containers (FCL) instead of sending small shipments (LCL). The goods arrived in Russia completely legally, with correct «Cheстный знак» codes, and were immediately sent to marketplaces, store shelves, and service station warehouses.
