Sea-Intelligence has published the 146th issue of the Global Liner Performance report, which provides reliability indicators for the schedules of large shipping lines from January to September 2023.
Since the last report, which was considered in October, the changes are as follows:
- According to the analysis, in September 2023, global schedule reliability increased by 1.2% compared to the previous month and amounted to 64.4%.
- Compared to the same period last year, the indicator increased by 19%.
- The average delay time (only delayed vessels are taken into account) decreased by 0.09 days compared to August 2023 and amounted to 4.58 days. The indicator is 1.30 days less than in the same period last year.
And according to the rating:
- the most reliable are Maersk and its subsidiary Hamburg Süd, which scored 71.3% in September.
- followed by MSC with 69.8%.
- six more carriers, along with MSC, achieved schedule reliability at the level of 60–70%.
- four carriers have a schedule reliability of 50–60%.
- below 50%, the indicator was only for HMM — 45.9%.
