Sea-Intelligence has published the 146th issue of the Global Liner Performance report, which details the schedule reliability of major shipping lines from January to September 2023.
Since the last report reviewed in October, the changes are as follows:
- According to the analysis, global schedule reliability in September 2023 increased by 1.2% month-on-month, reaching 64.4%.
- Compared to the same period last year, the indicator rose by 19%.
- Average delay for late vessel arrivals dropped by 0.09 days compared to August 2023, standing at 4.58 days. The figure is 1.30 days lower than in the same period last year.
- The most reliable were Maersk and its subsidiary Hamburg Süd, scoring 71.3% in September;
- They are followed by MSC with 69.8%;
- Six more carriers, alongside MSC, achieved schedule reliability at the 60–70% level;
- Four carriers recorded schedule reliability between 50–60%;
- Only HMM fell below 50% with 45.9%.
