The container turnover of all sea ports in Russia in September 2023 increased by 38.6% compared to September 2022:
- exports grew by 39%
- cabotage handled 33.9% more than the previous year
- transit decreased by 6.5%
- imports grew by 45.1%
- loaded containers were processed 33.8% more than last year
- the handling of empty containers increased by 54.1%
Shares by basin in September 2023 in the total container turnover of all sea ports in the Russian Federation were distributed as follows:
- Far Eastern — 54.3%
- Baltic — 25.4%
- Azov-Black Sea — 17.2%
- Arctic — 3.1%
- Caspian — 0.1%
