Settlements with China are becoming more complicated again: several more Chinese banks have stopped accepting currency from Of Russia. Ping An Bank and Bank of Ningbo (ranked 13th and 15th in terms of capital in China) have now refused to accept transactions in rubles and yuan.
Many other banks and international organizations have also imposed restrictions (DNS Bank, Great Wall West China Bank, China Zheshang Bank and others).
This creates difficulties when working with suppliers, but the calculations between By China and Russia will not stop – there are always alternatives.:
- There are still banks in Russia that accept payments in China.;
- payments via branches in China or friendly countries;
- payments through partners in Hong Kong.
Due to the fear of secondary sanctions, exports are also under attack. For example, recently the Indian oil refining company Reliance did not accept raw materials on a Sovcomflot tanker. And the problem here is not in the country of origin of the oil, but in Sovcomflot and its 14 oil tankers, against which the United States imposed sanctions in February.
